ARC Justice is an independent, for-purpose, human rights organisation that incorporates the Loddon Campaspe Community Legal Centre, the Goulburn Valley Community Legal Centre and Housing Justice.
We have offices in Bendigo and Shepparton and work with people in regional and rural Victoria who experience disadvantage relating to their housing, family, relationship, consumer, economic, social and civil rights.
The Human Resources (HR) Advisor reports to the Director Operations and is responsible for providing accurate and timely employment lifecycle advice and services and HR advisory support whilst working closely with managers and other internal stakeholders.
This role has a HR generalist focus managing all aspects of HR including recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, Human Resources Information System (HRIS) maintenance, policy development and communication, HR reporting, learning and development, coaching and mentoring, employment relations, occupational health and safety and administration.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements
- A minimum of two years’ relevant experience.
- Experience advising on all facets of people and culture areas, particularly employee relations.
- Proven ability to build positive beneficial relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- A sense of urgency and the ability to meet deadlines.
- A willingness to work collaboratively in a cross program team environment, embracing change and encouraging innovation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Human Resource Information Systems.
- Experience working in a Not-for-Profit setting.
