Assistant Director EL1 Policy | Fed Gov | Canberra, Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Hobart Full time, 37.5 hour a week role Contract up to 30th June 2026 MUST have minimum baseline security clearance ACM Healthcare is working on behalf of a Federal Government Department to source an experienced Assistant Director Policy and Research for a contract up to 30th June 2026 at an EL1 Level. The roles are available to be worked out of either the: Canberra, Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Hobart office. Duties: Work independently, with limited supervision, to progress agreed objectives and projects. Undertake detailed policy work, including interpreting legislation and assisting with activities to support the implementation of new legislation. Build collaborative relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Gather and analyse data and research to develop robust advice on relevant policy issues. Draft ministerial and senior executive briefings, reports, Ministerial correspondence, meeting papers and discussion papers. Support the team with requests for information, administration, media monitoring and coordination.
