Job Reference: About the Role:

Curtin School of Allied Health invites applications for a full-time (1.0 FTE) continuing Fieldwork Coordinator to lead and oversee the Faculty's fieldwork placement program. We are looking for someone who can commence in March 2026 and drive positive outcomes for students, staff, and industry partners.

This position collaborates with fieldwork and unit coordinators to maintain and strengthen industry partnerships, serving as a key interface between partners and students to ensure the smooth administration of placements.

The Fieldwork Coordinator oversees the daily operations of fieldwork placements, including organising placement team priorities and overseeing ongoing process improvements. The position also regularly reviews administrative processes, implements improvements with staff, and ensures compliance with university policies and procedures.

Additionally, the coordinator develops and maintains strong relationships with industry partners, liaises with students, staff, and clinical partners to resolve placement issues, and acts as the first escalation point for any placement-related queries.

Who we are looking for:

1. Demonstrated ability to build, maintain and manage relationships with a wide range of professional/industry stakeholders.
2. Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, manage and meet the needs of a large number of stakeholders.
3. Demonstrated ability to provide day-to-day leadership and direction to staff within a small team.
4. Professional written communication skills with the ability to draft a range of correspondence and documentation that is clear and concise.
5. Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgement in the resolution of day-to-day issues arising.
6. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as autonomously with limited direction.

Desirable

* Previous experience in, and understanding of, fieldwork placement within the higher education sector.

Role Requirements:

* As this is a continuing (permanent) role, you will require permanent work rights in Australia to be considered.
