**About the Company**
Our large NSW State Government client is responsible for the states social housing portfolio.
**About the Role**
They are currently seeking a Project Support Officer with extensive maintenance and facilities management experience to join their team in Mayfield/Newcastle West with some flexibility to work remotely from home. This is an estimated 4-month temporary assignment, with a potential to extend.
Reporting to the Manager, you will be required to provide a wide range of project and administrative support services to the NW Engagement team in complaint resolution to achieve organisational objectives.
In this rewarding role, you will be undertaking the following duties:
- Deliver exceptional customer service in a high volume, complex environment
- Inbox management, generating correspondence
- Investigate and facilitate resolution of complaints
- Work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders including internal and external stakeholders, NSW Housing Tenants, maintenance vendors and contractors
- Identify serious and urgent complaints, escalate priorities
- Engage with contractors to ensure maintenance jobs are completed
- Preparation of a wide range of maintenance reports
- Schedule and coordinate meetings
- Preparation of a wide range of documentation including meeting minutes, action logs, agenda's and presentation material
- Booking and maintenance of fleet vehicles
- Records and database management, ensuring confidentiality, accuracy and high integrity in accordance with standards and guidelines
- Manage, sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail
- Register requests and correspondence, coordinate and distribute workflow accordingly
- Participate in the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with best practice, legislative requirements, departmental processes and procedures
**About You**
To be successful in this great assignment you will have the following:
- Demonstrated Administration and Business Support experience
- Facilities maintenance administration experience highly desirable
- Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written
- Superior organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise conflicting deadlines
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office suite and TRIM
- High attention to detail
- Takes initiative, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable remote internet access with flexibility to work remotely from home
- Willingness to undergo a National Police Check
- Fully COVID vaccinated or medically exempt
- Ability to commence and commit to the duration of the assignment
