About the Service
The Maitland Physiotherapy Team at Metford Hospital provides a comprehensive physiotherapy service across inpatient, outpatient and Emergency Department settings. The team supports a diverse and complex caseload, including a large inpatient population and busy orthopaedic outpatient clinics operating Monday to Thursday.
Senior graded physiotherapists provide advanced clinical expertise, leadership and oversight across service delivery, ensuring safe clinical practice, effective patient flow and strong multidisciplinary integration. The service plays a key role in supporting acute care pathways, optimising functional outcomes and maintaining efficient, responsive physiotherapy services across the hospital.
You will work within a collaborative Physiotherapy team alongside Senior Physiotherapists (Level 4 ED, ICU and Level 3 Acute Wards and Outpatients), reporting to the Level 6 Head of Discipline / Site Senior Physiotherapist.
About the Role

* Support broader outpatient clinics as required
* Provide clinical leadership, mentoring and supervision to junior clinicians and allied health assistants
