1-year full time, fixed term opportunity Provide general customer support at the Centre for Continuing Education, in a role that also offers professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge Base Salary HEO4 $80,037 17% superannuation About the opportunity As the Customer Support Assistant, you will be actively involved in a wide range of customer support tasks, including setting up and maintaining learning spaces, distributing online learning resources, administering online class setups, and updating and formatting documents (Word, PowerPoint, PDF). You will also respond to queries, place catering orders, and liaise with relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure exceptional customer service. As the first point of contact for students and facilitators, you will need strong communication and organisational skills to manage a variety of administrative activities. You will bring strong time management and task prioritisation skills, attention to detail, advanced verbal and written communication abilities, advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, and a can-do attitude. This is a full-time, on-campus role based at the Camperdown Campus, in the Darling Building (ground floor reception). Your key responsibilities will be to: Work within a dynamic team environment, reporting to the Senior Administrative Officer (Logistics) provide administrative support to set up and maintain teaching and learning spaces (includes ensuring AV is working and teaching room supplies are stocked) provide general customer support to students and facilitators (phone, chat, email, in-person) assist with formatting and editing course documents in line with brand guidelines undertake ad-hoc activities as per business requirements. About you a degree without subsequent relevant work experience or/and Certificate/Diploma in business administration or equivalent with relevant business administration experience the ability to prioritise workload and work across multiple projects and priorities simultaneously the ability to work both independently and as part of a team advanced Microsoft Office skills and confidence using multiple information technology platforms attention to detail, with a strong focus on accuracy and numeracy demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to use initiative and exercise sound judgement and ability to prioritise workload during busy periods proven customer service experience in a client focused environment proven verbal and written communication skills, with experience in handling a wide range of enquiries and providing excellent customer service.
