Job Description
A Business Partnership Manager plays a vital role in supporting high-quality services for vulnerable individuals and families in the Queensland Government. Their responsibilities include contract administration, negotiation, and management with suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Contract Administration
o Negotiating and establishing contracts with suppliers
o Managing contracts, including market analysis, end-to-end procurement processes, and building relationships with diverse suppliers
* Advice and Information Provision
o Providing guidance to suppliers and departmental staff on investment specifications, quality assurance systems, program guidelines, and accountability requirements
* Monitoring Service Delivery
o Ensuring compliance with contracts, legislation, and other departmental requirements through site inspections and monitoring individual care services
* Corrective Actions
o Identifying and implementing improvements to supplier performance and escalating issues when necessary
* Negotiation and Collaboration
o Working with internal business areas to ensure value for money, quality service delivery, and positive relationships with industry partnerships
* Reporting and Data Analysis
o Preparing reports, analyzing financial information, and contributing to a professional environment through commitment to ethical behavior and staff wellbeing
