Mercure Sydney is one of the city's most vibrant hotels — featuring 517 newly refurbished rooms, 12 versatile conference spaces, and multiple food and beverage outlets. We're now seeking aCasual Night Auditor to join our team of passionate hospitality professionals.
About the Role
Working from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM, you'll support the Night Manager in running smooth overnight operations — ensuring every guest enjoys a safe, comfortable, and memorable stay.
A Night in the Life of a Night Auditor
* Deliver outstanding guest service throughout the night
* Manage overnight hotel operations, including reception, reservations, switchboard, and room service
* Audit all payment transactions and daily revenue to ensure accuracy and integrity
* Prepare and distribute daily financial and operational reports
* Support hotel safety, security, and emergency procedures
* Complete clear and thorough handovers to the morning team
What We're Looking For
* Previous Front Office or similar hotel experience
* Excellent grooming and professional presentation
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Reliable, self-motivated, and confident working autonomously
* Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical abilities
* Skilled in problem-solving, multitasking, and performing under pressure
* Proficient computer skills — Excel and hotel PMS experience essential (Opera or Shiji preferred)
