As a Commercial Contract Administrator at Centina, you will play a key role in managing the commercial and contractual performance of projects from contract award through to final account. You will work collaboratively with project managers, site teams, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure contracts are administered accurately, transparently, and in line with Centina's standards and commitments.
This role suits an experienced Contract Administrator who values structure, accountability, and teamwork, and who is motivated by the opportunity to grow with an expanding construction business.
Key Responsibilities
* Administer head contracts and subcontract agreements in accordance with contractual obligations and Centina procedures
* Prepare, assess, and manage
progress claims, variations, and final accounts
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date project cost reports, forecasts, and cash flow projections
* Manage subcontractor procurement, contract issuance, and ongoing commercial administration
* Use
Cheops
software for cost control, contract management, and financial reporting
* Ensure all commercial records are maintained accurately and transparently
* Work closely with project and site teams to identify, manage, and mitigate commercial risks
* Support the timely resolution of contractual issues and disputes
* Assist with project reporting and commercial handovers at project completion
* Contribute to maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and compliance across projects
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in a
Commercial Contract Administrator
or similar role within the construction industry
* Strong working knowledge of
construction contracts and subcontract administration
* Demonstrated experience using
Cheops
software
* Strong commercial awareness, cost control, and financial management skills
* High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
* Clear and honest communication skills with the ability to work in partnership with others
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment
* Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
Qualifications
* Qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building, or a related discipline (preferred but not essential)
