Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our team as a Senior Radiation Therapist. In this role, you will be responsible for the provision of clinical physics and quality assurance services that ensure a safe and effective radiotherapy service for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide specialist advice in the technical and scientific aspects of radiotherapy delivery and treatment planning.
* Independently perform highly accurate routine and non-routine dosimetry and geometric quality assurance measurements.
* Collect, process and analyze radiation beam data from radiotherapy equipment for entry into treatment planning systems.
Requirements:
* Certification in Radiation Oncology Medical Physics (ACPSEM, IPEM, HCPC, ABR, ABMP, CCPM, IMPCB) is required.
* A clear communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
* Great time-management skills enabling you to manage your assigned tasks and achieving quality outcomes.
* You have a problem-solving, solution-focused, pro-active mindset.
* You are a strong advocate for positive team culture.
* Demonstrated activity in training, research, and supervision of physics trainees will be highly regarded.
