About the Role
As a Remote Area Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering primary health care services to patients across community nursing, primary health care, and emergency healthcare settings. You will collaborate with our teams to ensure an integrated service approach, focusing on prevention and early intervention.
* Deliver comprehensive health services to remote communities
* Collaborate with primary healthcare teams to ensure a holistic approach to patient care
* Utilize your knowledge of emergency response, patient triaging, population health, chronic disease management, culturally safe practice, and health promotion to deliver effective care
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A Registered Nurse qualification
* At least 5 years post-qualification experience in general nursing
* Significant experience in providing primary health care/population health and/or emergency health services in remote Australia and/or rural Multi-Purpose Health Service Facilities
* A demonstrated understanding of the principles of Primary Health care, community development, and the social determinants of health
