Community Disability Support Worker
Are you a compassionate and skilled individual seeking a rewarding career in disability support? Do you possess a Certificate III in Individual Support and experience working with people with disabilities?
This role involves providing daily living support to a customer, empowering them to live an independent and holistic life. Your duties will include:
* Assisting with everyday activities around the home
* Providing hygiene and personal care support
* Chaperoning activities outside the home environment
* Assisting with medication compliance
* Meal assistance, including meal preparation
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of person-centered support principles and be able to work collaboratively as part of a team.
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum qualification of a Certificate III in Individual Support, hold a current driver's license, reliable vehicle, and comprehensive car insurance, and have at least one year experience as a Disability Support Worker. You will also require NDIS Clearance, First Aid certification (within 3 years), CPR certification (within 12 months), and National Police Clearance.
