The Director of Engineering plays a pivotal role in overseeing all engineering operations, strategic capital projects, and preventive maintenance across the property.

* Oversee operation and maintenance of all building systems: HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and life safety

Requirements include a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering or related discipline, Level 4 Power Engineer Certificate (required); 2nd Class Stationary Engineer (preferred), Minimum 5 years' leadership experience in engineering within a luxury hotel or complex facility, Proven expertise in building systems: HVAC, MEP, life safety, and energy management, Deep understanding of BC Occupational Health & Safety and building/fire codes, Experience managing preventive maintenance programs and capital projects, Budget management expertise, with a strong focus on ROI and cost-effectiveness, Proficiency with technical software, blueprints, and project management tools, Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills, Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, guest-centric environment.
