About this opportunity
Our Works Team is seeking experienced Truck Drivers to support road construction and maintenance projects, with 1 position available in Canungra, 2 positions in Boonah, and 1 position in Beaudesert.
The role involves both truck driving duties and general labour tasks, contributing to various construction and maintenance activities. If you are a skilled truck driver with roadworks experience, this could be an ideal opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Perform truck driving duties as directed in a safe and efficient manner.
* Carry out a pre-start safety checklist and report any vehicle faults.
* Complete fault report sheets accurately and in a timely manner.
* Operate two-way radio equipment for effective communication.
* Perform daily general labouring duties to support road maintenance and construction activities.
* Safely operate small plant machinery after proper induction and training
* Comply with Council policies, procedures, and instructions to ensure the delivery of quality services.
About you…
* Hold a current Queensland Medium Rigid driver's licence
* Possess a valid General Construction Induction (White Card).
* Demonstrated experience in general labouring for construction and maintenance.
* Skilled in the operation of small plant and hand-held power tools.
* Ability to understand and adhere to Work Health and Safety (WHS) policies and procedures.
* A team player with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues.
What's In it for you?
This position comes with a base remuneration from $61,176.55, working a 38hr week, 9 day fortnight and up to 13% employer superannuation contribution.
