About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Finance Administration Officer to join the team in a permanent part-time capacity.
Reporting to the Functions Lead, you'll play a key role in ensuring smooth and compliant financial operations from managing budgets and reconciliations to preparing invoices and reports.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, has strong attention to detail, and takes pride in maintaining accurate financial records within a purpose-driven organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Manage expenditure budgets, including forecasting and reporting for the participants.
Prepare financial reports for expenditure and non-trading income (e.g. rent, groceries, general spending).
Conduct and reconcile financial transactions, including petty cash and participant shopping accounts.
Manage participant shifts in Shift Care, ensuring ratios and rosters align with the ROC.
Generate, approve, and process invoices via Shift Care and Xero.
Perform monthly reconciliations and identify any inconsistencies or cost-saving opportunities.
Provide financial insights and support to management on end-to-end finance processes.
Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and company policies.
About You
You are a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys working collaboratively.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
Proven experience in financial administration or bookkeeping.
Experience working in a similar industry is an advantage.
Proficiency in Xero and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain one.
