**ABOUT THE POSITION.**
In this position, you will develop, implement and evaluate projects for domestic waste and resource recovery including the area of illegal dumping and littering. You will also continue the ongoing management of existing programs and future projects
**DUTIES.**
- Liaise and foster relationships with key stakeholders
- Promote Council's Domestic Waste Service and resource recovery programs
- Assist in data collection and management to monitor performance of the waste management services
- Follow Council's policies and procedures when carrying out work to ensure risks are managed
**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.**
- Tertiary Qualifications in Environmental Science, Education, Natural Resource Management or a related field
- Current Class C Drivers Licence
- Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety practices, the principles of Equal Employment Opportunity, ethical practice and multi-cultural diversity
- Excellent interpersonal skills, customer service and ability to be able to relate well to internal and external clients
- High level of problem solving and evaluation skills
