At Versent, as a Senior Service Now Technical Consultant, you will lead the design, implementation, and optimisation of complex Service Now solutions, leveraging Next Gen platform advancements to drive strategic customer outcomes.
You will stay ahead of technology innovations and Service Now releases, mentor team members, shape innovative workflows, and foster a collaborative, high-performing environment while delivering transformative projects.Must be an Australian citizen, able to obtain security clearance, and currently residing in Australia.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and deliver advanced Service Now solutions, utilising latest features, such as Agentic AI, AI Control Tower, and enhanced AI search, to align customer objectives with technical configurations.
Lead implementation and optimisation of Service Now modules, including IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), IT Business Management (ITBM), and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), incorporating AI-driven automation and low-code workflows.
Oversee Configuration Management Database (CMDB) integrity, ensuring compliance with Common Service Data Model (CSDM) standards and leveraging Yokohama's data management console for real-time governance.
Design and implement complex integrations using Service Now's REST APIs, Scripted REST APIs, Integration Hub, and Workflow Data Fabric, enabling interoperability with AI models and third-party systems.
Drive customer and stakeholder engagement, delivering high-impact solutions with exceptional communication, while staying informed on trends like sustainable IT and AI governance.
Mentor junior and mid-level consultants, fostering expertise in AI agents, low-code platforms, and 2025 Service Now features through knowledge sharing and innovation.
Contribute to Versent's Service Now practice by identifying service expansion opportunities, optimising processes, and providing thought leadership on AI-driven workflows and cross-industry solutions.
Stay current with Service Now releases (e.g., Yokohama, Zurich) and technology trends (e.g., Agentic AI, sustainable IT), ensuring solutions remain cutting-edge.
What We're Expecting From You7+ years of hands-on Service Now experience, including advanced implementations in ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, or GRC, with proficiency in releases and features.
Deep expertise in CMDB management, CSDM frameworks, and new features (e.g., Yokohama's data management console for optimised data governance).
Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Application Developer (CAD), and at least two Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications (e.g., CIS-ITSM, CIS-ITOM, CIS-Discovery) required; AI-related certifications and micro-certifications are a plus.
Proficiency in front-end development (e.g., HTML, CSS, Java Script, Angular JS) and Service Now scripting (e.g., Glide API, Business Rules) for custom and low-code solutions.
Extensive experience with Service Now integrations, including REST APIs, Scripted REST APIs, Integration Hub, and Workflow Data Network, with a focus on AI and Io T connectivity.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and build strong customer relationships.
Proven mentorship experience, with a collaborative mindset to drive team growth and customer success in an AI-driven landscape.
Familiarity with emerging Service Now capabilities (e.g., AI Control Tower, Security and Risk AI agents, industry-specific workflows) and trends like sustainable IT and data security.
Commitment to staying up-to-date with Service Now releases and technology innovations, ensuring expertise in Agentic AI, low-code platforms, and cross-platform analytics.
Strategic vision to innovate Versent's Service Now offerings, contributing to business development and thought leadership in AI governance and workflow automation.
