Network Development Manager
Drive the growth of Jetour Australia’s dealer network by developing national market representation plans, recruiting and onboarding dealer partners, and managing network performance.
Responsibilities
* Develop the national market representation plan, defining optimal dealership locations, territories, and formats (e.g., metropolitan, regional).
* Conduct market analysis to identify potential markets and assess competitor network strengths and weaknesses.
* Establish the long-term network vision and annual rollout targets in alignment with sales objectives.
Dealer Recruitment & Appointment
* Lead the end-to-end process of identifying, prospecting, evaluating, and selecting potential dealer partners.
* Develop and implement a rigorous dealer evaluation framework (financial capability, operational excellence, market reputation).
* Prepare investment proposals and lead negotiations to finalise dealership agreements and contracts.
* Develop and implement Jetour Australia’s dealer standards for corporate identity, facility design, customer experience, and operational processes.
* Oversee the dealer onboarding process, ensuring a smooth launch for new partners.
* Work closely with the Training department to ensure dealer staff are fully equipped to represent the brand.
Network Performance & Relationship Management
* Monitor and analyse the performance of the dealer network against key metrics (sales, CSI, facility compliance).
* Act as the primary strategic contact for designated dealer partners, fostering strong, collaborative relationships.
* Identify underperforming dealers and develop joint business plans for improvement.
Qualifications
* 7+ years of experience in automotive network development, dealer operations, or franchise management within Australia.
* Proven track record of successfully planning, recruiting, and launching a new automotive dealer network or significantly expanding an existing one.
* Deep understanding of the Australian automotive retail landscape, dealer business models, and franchise agreement structures.
* Strong financial and commercial acumen, with experience in developing business cases and negotiating complex agreements.
* Excellent relationship building, communication, and influencing skills at a senior level.
* Willingness and ability to travel extensively nationally.
