A national and diversified real estate investment group is seeking an Assistant Asset Manager for an initial 12-month contract to support the strategic management and performance of a high-quality Brisbane office portfolio.
Working closely with the Asset Management team, this role provides exposure to a range of asset management activities including leasing, tenant engagement, project coordination, and portfolio performance initiatives.
About the Role
The newly created Assistant Asset Manager role will support asset management initiatives across the portfolio while working closely with the external managing agent, responsible for the day-to-day operations of the assets.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Asset Management team across the Brisbane office portfolio
* Assist with leasing initiatives, lease negotiations, and tenant engagement activities
* Coordinate and support asset improvement and project management initiatives
* Work closely with the appointed managing agent to monitor property performance and operational outcomes
* Assist with portfolio reporting, asset strategy initiatives, and stakeholder coordination
About You
We are seeking a motivated property professional with 5-10 year's experience, that is eager to step into a landlord asset management role. You may currently be working in Property Management, ideally within Premium or A grade assets, or Property/Investment Analysis.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
* Strong interest in commercial property and asset management
* Confidence working with tenants and stakeholders
* Ability to take ownership and make sound decisions
* Strong communication, organisation, and analytical skills
* Experience with leasing negotiations or tenant management is desirable
