Due to a continuous growth of business, this fast growing and diverse water treatment company, who offer a wide range of specialised water treatment services to a mixed portfolio of clients across the UK are actively recruiting for a hardworking an conscientious water treatment accounts manager based in and around the Northampton area.
The ideal candidate will hold experience within the water treatment / Legionella industry and have extensive experience with managing and developing accounts.
Consideration will also be given to candidate from Stevenage Milton Keynes, Luton, Watford, Beford and the surrounding areas.
Key Qualifications
The individual must come from a good educational, management, accounts, sales, and business development background.
A good working knowledge of the water treatment industry.
Knowledge of steam and cooling towers preferable.
Previous experience in a water treatment sales role is essential.
Experience managing a varied portfolio of cooling tower, steam boiler and closed system accounts.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficient IT skills, including MS Office.
Duties within the role
Managing and developing a portfolio of water treatment accounts, including Cooling Towers, Steam Boilers and Closed System accounts.
Ensuring that the water treatment programmes and processes used are compliant with current guidelines.
Will secure, manage, and develop key accounts – cross selling their services whilst still managing the existing services.
Management of existing accounts.
Must have the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues of all professional levels.
Building and maintaining good working relationships with clients.
Attending to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Producing tenders and quotations.
Meeting targets – achieving goals.
Dealing with any issues appropriately and effectively.
Attending meetings as and when required.
Overall, the successful candidate will be commercially motivated, with excellent water treatment industry knowledge and will demonstrate their proven track record in sales/account management.
