Join us as a Maintenance Supervisor at our Moorebank site, and lead a team of skilled technicians. You'll combine hands‐on technical expertise with team leadership to keep our automated systems running smoothly, directly impacting the performance of thousands of daily operations.
Key job responsibilities
* Lead and Motivate: Supervise a team of maintenance technicians, providing strategic guidance and professional development
* Develop and implement comprehensive preventative maintenance programs and facility compliance strategies
* Act as an ambassador for safety within the team and to promote safe working across the site
* Install, maintain, and troubleshoot complex facility systems and automated equipment
* Cross‐Functional Collaboration: Build strong relationships across organizational levels and participate in strategic leadership meetings
A day in the life: Your day will be a dynamic blend of hands‐on technical work and strategic leadership. You'll lead a team of technicians (fitters and electricians), troubleshoot complex equipment challenges, and develop proactive maintenance strategies that keep our cutting‐edge systems performing at their peak.
Basic Qualifications
* Experience in team leadership
* A full Engineering Apprenticeship qualified to a minimum of Certificate III or equivalent in a relevant Engineering subject formally recognised in Australia including a valid licence when required (i.e. unrestricted electrical licence).
* Experience working in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance
* Relevant experience in automation or material handling equipment environments
* Experience using CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management Systems) to plan proactive maintenance and record reactive tasks
Preferred Qualifications
* Understanding of programmable logic controls (PLC) programming
* Experience of multi‐contractor management
* Knowledge of statutory compliance requirements
