Beechworth Kindergarten a stand alone sessional kindergarten, located in the beautiful parks and gardens of the Mayday Hills Complex on Boundary Road, Beechworth. Kindergarten sessions are available during school terms for both 3 year old and 4 year old programs. Our sessional programs: - 4 Year Old Program - 15 hours of fully funded kindergarten, over 2.5 days - 3 Year Old Program - 15 hours of fully funded kindergarten, over 2.5 days - Our teaching team: our highly educated and experienced teaching team includes early years teachers and support staff. - Our class sizes: our smaller class sizes have a fantastic child/educator ratio. We are seeking a Diploma or Certificate III, Early Childhood Educator to become part of our 3 & 4 -Year-Old team, commencing as soon as possible. This part-time or casually paid position is for Monday's 9.30-1.30pm, Wednesday's 12.45pm - 4.30pm, Fridays 9.30-1.30pm with the possibilty of more hours. The successful candidate will assist the Teacher in providing a safe and welcoming environment for both children and families. They will have a comprehensive understanding of play-based learning and be able to demonstrate responsive and meaningful interactions with children. The role requires confident communication with families and other Educators, as well as a commitment to upholding Child Safe Standards and adhering to our Code of Conduct. A strong understanding of the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF), Indigenous Perspectives, Children's Services Regulations, and the National Quality Framework is essential.
