Drake Recruitment Perth is seeking a Storeperson for an immediate start with one of our valued clients in the steel manufacturing and distribution industry.
This is a full-time casual position with the strong opportunity to transition to permanent after a short probation period.
In this hands-on role, you will be working in a trade-related environment, undertaking a variety of warehouse and manual tasks including (but not limited to): Picking, packing and stock control Forklift operation (desirable) Assisting with general warehouse duties and manual handling Basic customer service Supporting the wider warehouse and production teams We are seeking someone who brings: Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or trade-related experience A current Australian forklift licence (desirable) Physical fitness and the ability to pass a full pre-employment medical A current police clearance (or willingness to obtain) Strong communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude Reliability, self-motivation, and a strong work ethic Valid Australian work rights (long term) A driver's licence and reliable transport Availability to interview and start at short notice What's in it for you?
