About The Role
As we continue to deliver key projects across Australia, we're looking for an experienced
Planning Manager
to join our Perth-based Head Office team.
In this full-time, permanent role reporting to the COO, you'll lead project planning and controls across some of our most ambitious renewable and infrastructure projects. You'll also work closely with both the Pre-Contracts and Operations teams, driving accuracy, consistency, and collaboration from tender through to delivery.
What You'll Be Doing
* Take ownership of schedule risk analysis, becoming the go-to subject matter expert for planning excellence.
* Develop and manage detailed tender programs in Primavera P6, ensuring alignment with scope, client expectations, and project objectives.
* Collaborate with project teams to optimise programs — covering design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.
* Identify opportunities to streamline delivery, boost labour efficiency, and reduce environmental impacts.
* Maintain regular communication with site teams, providing updates on progress, milestones, and potential delays.
* Prepare and present look-ahead schedules that keep construction operations running smoothly.
About You
* Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering.
* 8+ years' experience in a similar role specialising in detailed planning and construction logic.
* Proven background in renewable energy projects (large-scale PV highly regarded).
* Solid on-site construction experience across planning, scheduling, progress measurement, and reporting.
* Proficient in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
* Strong understanding of project controls, critical path methods, and Earned Value principles.
* Additional project management or controls certifications will be highly regarded.
