About the Role
WorkPac are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Safety & Compliance Advisor to support our client's Sydney operations. This permanent, full-time role will be based across three key sites – Port Botany, Wetherill Park, and Minto – providing safety and compliance oversight across multiple functions. Reporting directly to the National OHS Manager, you will ensure that safety systems are upheld and compliance standards are met in accordance with internal policies and external regulations.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain and oversee the safety and compliance systems across NSW operations
* Support transport, warehousing, and empty container park operations to align with safety standards
* Ensure compliance with Road Transport, COR, Fatigue Management, and Dangerous Goods legislation
* Uphold company values and safety culture across multiple sites
* Identify and resolve safety-related issues in a fast-paced environment
* Provide regular reporting to the National OHS Manager
* Assist with investigations, audits, and implementation of corrective actions
* Support ongoing safety initiatives and training programs
Skills and Experience Required
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a transport compliance or safety role
* National Vehicle Heavy Regulator (NVHR) accreditation – must have
* Strong understanding of relevant legislation and regulations
* Excellent communication and time management skills
* Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively across departments
* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
* Willingness to learn and adapt as required, including potential weekend work
* Flexibility to operate across multiple Sydney-based sites
