About the role
An opportunity has arisen for a Lawyer with 1-4 years' PQE to join our leading Government & Administrative Law practice in Perth. The team act for a range of Commonwealth Departments and Agencies, primarily in public law litigation. Whilst the main focus is on disability and insurance access and planning matters under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), the work also includes Commonwealth employee compensation matters. Working under the guidance of a supportive Partner and Special Counsel, both of whom have a passion for training and mentorship, this hands-on role will see you preparing for and attending conferences and conciliations in the Administrative Appeals Tribunal, making this an invaluable opportunity to develop your skills, knowledge and experience.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will be an admitted Lawyer with up to 4 years' PQE. The work requires attention to detail, practical problem solving skills and the ability to think strategically. While general litigation experience will be highly regarded, it is your passion and enthusiasm for the law, and your genuine interest in developing in the public law space, that will see you succeed in this role.
