">About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead School Psychologist to join our team in Western Australian public schools. The successful candidate will provide leadership and access to professional support and learning for all school psychologists.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership and strategic direction for school psychology services
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for school psychology services
• Foster partnerships with other educational professionals, parents and the community to promote student well-being and academic success
• Conduct assessments and develop interventions to support students with special needs
• Collaborate with teachers and other education professionals to enhance student learning and achievement
• Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in school psychology to ensure evidence-based practice
Requirements:
• Master's degree or higher in school psychology or related field
• Current registration as a school psychologist in Australia
• Proven experience in leading teams and developing policies and procedures
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve common goals
• High level of organisational and time management skills
• Familiarity with relevant legislation and policies governing education in Australia
• Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development to maintain currency in school psychology practice
