About the opportunity:
This is a key position within our firm where the successful applicant will be responsible for managing the cadastral survey projects department. Overseeing surveyors and draft persons, implementing and developing systems, setting strategies, liaising with clients, project delivery, and quality assurance.
With established systems, experienced personnel and leadership support in place, this role offers a clear pathway through senior leadership to a potential equity participation over time.
The role:
Queensland Surveying Solutions is seeking a confident, capable and energetic Consulting Cadastral Surveyor / Manager to lead delivery of surveying services to our clients. You will be a key part of our Senior Management Team, growing our cadastral capability, managing projects and people, and helping shape company direction.
About the firm:
Queensland Surveying Solutions Pty Ltd is a Brisbane/SEQ based surveying firm. We are looking for persons to join our team in supporting our clients on cadastral, land development projects, construction and engineering projects throughout south east Queensland.

About you:
Key responsibilities
* Serve on QSS Senior Management Team; contribute to company strategy, policy and direction
* Manage cadastral survey functions for projects, field crews and CAD drafters
* Plan staff deployment, schedule work and coordinate project activities
* Oversee project budgets, timelines and deliverables
* Supervise, mentor and develop surveyors and trainees
* Ensure compliance with survey standards, legislation, and health & safety requirements
* Be the primary point of contact for clients on assigned projects
Who we're looking for
The role suits either an experienced cadastral leader or an ambitious surveyor ready to step up with mentoring support. Ideal candidates will have:
* Consulting and/or Cadastral endorsement
* Strong practical knowledge of cadastral titling methodology, survey legislation and standards
* Experience supervising projects and teams, with excellent planning/time management and budget control
* High attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication, and a strong client focus
* Commitment to safety and quality
