Job Title: Food Services Leader

About the Role:
* Key Responsibilities:
* Manage menu and food preparation, quality control, health and safety, and inventory/ordering across sites.
* Support Supervisors in daily operations and contribute to strategic direction and commercial outcomes.
* Ensure the organization is valued for its contribution to the community, product quality, customer service, and supported employment opportunities.
* Lead food service delivery, including recommending improvements to operations, menu strategies, equipment, and products.
* Undertake preparation and cooking of café menu items to a high standard.
* Oversee ordering of stock and supplies, delegating to Supervisors where appropriate.
* Apply practical knowledge of food safety regulations and ensure compliance with all health, safety, and licensing requirements.
* Maintain costs within budget, demonstrating strong understanding of COGS to inform menu, supplier, and ordering decisions.
* Assist with front-of-house tasks when needed (greeting, taking orders, payment handling, food service, clearing, coffee making).
* Support Supervisor/s with onboarding and induction of supported and open employees.
Requirements and Skills:
* Fundamental knowledge of food preparation and presentation techniques.
* Understanding of food safety regulations and practices.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure and as part of a team.
