Position Overview
The Clinical Nurse Team Leader plays a pivotal role in providing strategic clinical leadership and operational management across our nursing, maternal and child health services. This position is integral to ensuring the delivery of culturally safe clinical services, preventative health programs, and coordinated care across multiple locations.
As a Clinical Nurse Team Leader, you will oversee the performance of nursing staff, coordinate clinical governance requirements, and support the Health Services Manager in executing our strategic priorities.
Candidate Profile
We are seeking an experienced clinical nurse who demonstrates strong leadership capabilities and a commitment to community engagement. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of culturally safe health practices and will be adept at mentoring and developing nursing staff.
* Registered Nurse with AHPRA, holding a current practicing certificate and indemnity insurance.
* Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience, with a preference for leadership roles.
* Postgraduate qualifications in nursing or management are advantageous.
* Proven ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and across diverse communities.
* Current QLD Drivers Licence - Current Working with Children Blue Card - Current National Police Check (within the last 4 weeks) or ability to obtain prior to commencement.
