The Sales Representative is responsible for the promotion & for getting support from the Healthcare professionals, Retail Pharmacies and medical Institutions for Ascensia Diabetes Care products. All activities must be conducted ethically and with integrity that meets the Ascensia and Australian regulatory standards.
Location: Syd South West
What you will be doing:
* Develop a local Business Plan and have it reviewed on a QTR basis
* Identify and Target right customer based on existing / future potential for Ascensia Diabetes Care products
* Promote Ascensia Diabetes Care products to target customers and convert new customers and maintain support from existing customers.
* Plan activity levels using an 8 week cycle plan, plan marketing strategies and programs.
* All sales interactions are correctly recorded within the local CRM database to ensure customer development and call continuum on a daily basis.
* Maintain a high level of Product and Therapeutic segment knowledge
What You Need For Success:
* Relevant experience in sales — ideally 1–3 years in FMCG, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or retail environments.
* Strong communication and relationship‐building skills with the ability to engage confidently with customers and internal stakeholders.
* Self‐motivated and goal‐oriented, with a proven ability to meet targets and manage territory activities.
* Good organisational skills, including planning, reporting, and managing call cycles effectively.
* Ability to learn product knowledge quickly and communicate value propositions clearly.
* Basic understanding of sales metrics and market trends to support informed decision‐making.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office/CRM tools for reporting and daily administration.
* A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel within the assigned territory
