Ngaarda Media offers a platform for Indigenous and Non-indigenous people across the Pilbara to tell their stories through radio, photography and videography. Ngaarda Media presents Aboriginal culture in an inspiring and meaningful way across all digital media to allow more people to experience the oldest living culture on earth. 
The Role: 
Conceptualised, filmed and edited engaging content highlighting our TV news and signature radio programs. 
Create appealing visual content using a drone, a ronin gimbal and camera techniques to create slow motion. 
Create stunning graphics and special effects aligned with our branding. 
Be willing to learn new video trends and techniques while launching a Virtual Reality platform. 
Prepare and present distinctive and compelling content that engages local audiences. 
Present and produce content for social media, website, NITV news and other news outlets. 
Shoot, edit and deliver video content that supports our vision. 
Help define the scope of projects and assist clients with understanding their needs and requirements. 
Consulting and contribution to the creation of scripts/storyboards for shoots. 
Directing talent on shoots, communicating with them clearly and confidently so they feel comfortable on set. 
Maintaining consistent and tidy project files. 
Help to produce radio news, breakfast and national program. 
About You 
Expertise in videography, editing and design 
Proficiency in video editing with design tools like DaVinci Resolve, Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro 
Creative storyteller 
Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines 
Previous experience in videography and content creation is desirable 
Are you: 
A highly motivated content maker 
Savvy with social media and online content, and know-how to engage a diverse demographic of listeners 
Passionate about local current affairs, social issues, business, technology and culture 
Agile, and have a good knowledge of the Pilbara/Kimberley and WA region as well as national and international issues 
A solid communicator who builds relationships with people from a range of diverse backgrounds
