Operations Administration / Purchasing Officer
We are seeking an experienced Operations Administration / Purchasing Officer to provide short-term holiday cover for a local council based in Ringwood, VIC. This is a part‑time contract (3–4 weeks), working 4 days per week (Monday to Thursday), ideal for someone with strong purchasing experience who can step in and hit the ground running.

* Duration: 3–4 weeks
* Hours: 4 days per week (Mon–Thurs)
* Rate: $37 per hour + super
* Location: Ringwood, VIC
Key Responsibilities
* Purchasing and invoice payments using the Technology One Financial System
* Processing contract payments
* Ordering uniforms and signage
* Supporting operational purchasing and supply functions
* Assisting with training others in the use of purchasing and financial systems as required
About You
* Demonstrated experience in purchasing, supply, and electronic financial systems
* Strong experience using Technology One (essential)
* Local council experience is highly desirable
* Proven ability to set priorities, prepare work plans, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Experience training others in the use of purchasing and financial software
* Full Australian working rights are required
