About the Role
We are seeking full-time trade qualified Automotive Electricians for an immediate start on servicing, maintenance and assembly of our OEM lighting towers, agriculture/mining and construction machinery in our purpose-built Mackay workshop.
The position will include (but not limited to) the following:
Diagnosis and fault finding
Assembly and manufacture of equipment
Installation of solar and renewable energy systems
Air conditioning work
Making and installing wiring harnesses, control panels, accessories and relevant equipment
Managing and organising task related bills of materials
Completing job cards and reports associated with tasks
The candidate must possess the following:
A detailed knowledge of 12, 24 and 48V DC systems
Minimum of Cert III qualification in Automotive Electrical Technology
Relevant post qualification experience in light or heavy vehicles
Current aircon licence (highly desirable)
Strong attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organisational and time management skills
