Graphic Art Mart (GAM) is one of Australia’s leading distributors of sign-making equipment, consumables, and printing solutions. Our NSW equipment team is growing, and we’re looking for a Service Technician to join our experienced national crew. If you’re practical, customer-focused, and keen to build a long-term technical career – this is a role with huge learning opportunities. Perfect for a recent engineering grad or a technician ready for something bigger. What You’ll Be Doing: You’ll be on the road across NSW (predominantly Greater Sydney), installing, servicing, and troubleshooting wide-format printing and finishing equipment from recognised brands like HP, Roland and Mimaki. The equipment you’ll work on is used for outdoor signage, vehicle wraps, POS displays and custom murals, ranging from entry-level units through to $600K devices – so there’s plenty to learn and master. A typical week includes: Installing new printers, cutters, and finishing equipment Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults Working closely with customers on site (approx. 80% customer-facing) Coordinating spare parts between branches (most held at Prestons) Attending vendor training and certification (fully funded by GAM) Occasional regional travel across NSW rare interstate support when required Physical work – loading, unloading and assembling equipment This is a hands-on job with plenty of variety – no two days look the same Location & Hours: Can be based out of any of the Graphic Art Mart locations in Sydney – Prestons, Peakhurst, North Rocks or Roseville. Please note: around 80% of your time will be on client sites. Standard hours 8:30am – 5:00pm, with flexibility depending on customer needs. Why Join GAM?
