This pivotal team plays a crucial role in the administration of conditions of service and entitlements for AFP employees, encompassing payroll processing, leave management, and superannuation.
The Payroll Services team supports the delivery of critical services by processing payroll transactions, providing expert advice on pay-related matters, and monitoring potential areas of risk.
Responsibilities:
1. Carefully manage day-to-day payroll processing, adhering to strict deadlines and ensuring employee entitlements are accurately calculated.
2. Undertake general administrative duties associated with providing high-quality payroll services.
3. Collaborate effectively with your team to deliver exceptional payroll support.
4. Pursue ongoing improvements, quality of service, and professional practices as a constructive team member.
5. Develop subject matter expertise through targeted training and development opportunities.
6. Communicate outcomes clearly in line with the AFP's Enterprise Agreement and related legislation, policies, and procedures.
7. Contribute positively to a dynamic team culture.
8. Provide accurate information on staff entitlements and conditions of service, adhering to Enterprise Agreement and related legislation, policies, and procedures.

Requirements:
* You must be an Australian Citizen at the time of application.
* A Negative Vetting 1 (Secret) security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
* Experience in Contemporary Payroll, Superannuation, Human Resources, Corporate, and/or Finance.
