Job Description: Key Responsibilities: • Deploy, configure, and maintain Windows servers on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, ensuring all systems are set up according to best practices and organizational requirements. • Manage Active Directory environments, including the creation and maintenance of user accounts, group policies, and permissions to ensure secure and efficient access control. • Perform regular patching and updates of Windows servers and associated software, utilizing OCI tools and automation to minimize downtime and maintain compliance with security standards. • Remediate vulnerabilities identified through security scans and audits by applying necessary patches, configuration changes, or other corrective measures to protect the environment from threats. • Monitor system performance, proactively identify potential issues, and troubleshoot server and database-related problems to ensure high availability and optimal operation. • Automate routine administrative tasks such as user provisioning, backups, and monitoring using scripting languages like PowerShell, as well as OCI’s native automation tools. • Support and implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies for both servers and databases, ensuring data integrity and business continuity. • Assist with database administration tasks on Windows servers, including installation, configuration, backup, performance tuning, and troubleshooting for SQL Server or Oracle Database. • Collaborate with security, network, and application teams to design and implement integrated solutions that meet organizational objectives and compliance requirements. • Maintain comprehensive documentation for system and database configurations, procedures, and changes to support operational transparency and knowledge sharing.
