Trikilis Counselling & Psychotherapy is a private clinic based in Winnellie in Darwin. TC&P is also Darwin's EMDR Clinic & Trauma center and provides services to a wide variety of clientele.

The Role
This is an on-site role located in Darwin, NT for a Psychotherapist, Accredited Mental Health Social Worker, Psychologist (including provisional), Clinical Counsellor or Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Practitioner.
A clinician will be responsible for providing short-term psychotherapy and counselling services to individuals, couples, families, and groups with diverse needs and backgrounds. The clinician will also develop and implement treatment plans using evidence-based approaches, conduct assessments and evaluations, maintain confidential client records, and collaborate with clinical and administrative staff.
The ideal applicant will work from a client-centered framework, have skills or experience in solution-focused interventions such as CBT, DBT, EFT. EMDR training is desirable.
Qualifications
Minimum degree Qualified or higher in Psychology, Psychotherapy, Counselling, or a related field.
Psychotherapists/Clinical Counsellors (with 5+ years of experience) - Clinical registration with PACFA.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Practitioner - general registration with AHPRA (or meeting eligibility criteria to apply).
Psychologist - general registration with AHPRA.
Provisional Psychologist - provisional registration with AHPRA.
WWC card & current Criminal History Check.
Demonstrated experience in providing individual and group psychotherapy and counseling services, and familiarity with evidence-based practices.
Excellent knowledge of mental health issues, diagnoses, and treatments, and strong skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
Strong skills in communication, collaboration, and building therapeutic rapport with clients.
Ability to implement and evaluate treatment plans, and adapt intervention strategies to each client's needs.
Excellent knowledge of professional ethics, privacy, and confidentiality, and ability to maintain accurate and complete client records.
Experience in working with diverse populations, including people with disabilities, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities, and the LGBTIQA+ community.
Knowledge of trauma-informed care and experience working with trauma survivors is highly desirable.
