Job Description
BURDI SOFTWARE is on the lookout for an experienced and creative Web Designer to join our friendly team! This is a permanent, full-time role with a salary of $75,000 – $80,000 based on experience. You will be responsible for the entire design process, from initial research and wireframing to high-fidelity UI design and handoff. We are located in Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast. Your duties will include:
* Determining the objectives, scope, and constraints of design briefs through consultation with clients, stakeholders, and external teams.
* Undertaking research and analysing functional, user, and communication requirements to inform effective design solutions.
* Formulating and developing design concepts to communicate ideas, information, and user interactions across digital and electronic media.
* Preparing sketches, wireframes, diagrams, mock-ups, and website layouts to communicate and validate design concepts.
* Negotiating and refining website design solutions in collaboration with clients, management, sales, and production or development teams.
* Building, updating, and maintaining websites using content management systems and web technologies.
* Selecting, specifying, and recommending appropriate functional and aesthetic materials, visual elements, and digital media for publication, delivery, and display.
* Detailing, documenting, and preparing final design specifications for production and implementation.
* Supervising and/or carrying out production and delivery of designs across digital platforms, ensuring quality and consistency.
* Archiving design assets, documentation, and project information for future reference and client use.
The successful applicant must have:
* At least 3 years of demonstrated experience as a Web Designer / UI/UX Designer.
