Responsibilities
In this role you will help the staff within the Nyngan MPS with non-medical duties including housekeeping, portering patients and general assistance.
Your duties may include transferring patients within the hospital, linen maintenance & medical supply restocking, cooking and/or preparing light refreshments for patients, general cleaning as required including rooms and equipment, and assisting generally as directed by nursing staff.
Qualifications / Requirements
You will need to be reliable, punctual and energetic, physically fit, have a caring and supportive attitude and use your good communication skills to be able to follow instructions and work as part of a team. Remaining calm in emergencies and the capability to handle equipment such as wheelchairs, beds and other medical equipment is also valued.
