About The Role
The Executive Assistant works as part of the executive support team within Curriculum and Learning, providing high‐level personal and executive support to the Executive Director, Curriculum and Learning. The role is responsible for a high level of service provision to internal and external clients and demands a high degree of initiative, professional judgement and autonomy, including sound knowledge of agency programmes, activities and policy. The Executive Assistant manages politically sensitive information requiring a high level of confidentiality and discretion. The position operates in a challenging environment that is subject to rapid change and requires the application of initiative and high‐level problem‐solving skills.
Qualifications
* Essential: Nil.
* Desirable: A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience.
Special Conditions
The successful applicant must obtain, prior to employment, a Department for Human Services (DHS) Working With Children Check (WWCC), which must be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake the RRHAN‐EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online Fundamentals course, to be updated every three years. Remuneration
ASO4 $76,561 – $80,256 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (12%) and leave loading.
