HCO is looking for an experienced administrator, who possesses strong communication skills, leaderships skills, accurate data entry abilities, enjoys a challenge and who works well under pressure.
Reporting to the Manager People & Culture, your role is to lead the rostering team of 3, supporting them in developing and maintaining staff rosters which respond to client needs and staff suitability, ensuring continuity of supports for clients, supporting workforce strategies, undertaking rostering analysis and reporting along with management of new location set ups and standard shift allocation in collaboration with our Client Services team.
This key role is a fulltime position worked between 9am to 5pm Weekdays.
Your duties will include:
* Manage the development of the Worker rosters for all services within the organisation ensuring all workers are inducted and hold relevant credentials for rostered shift
* To work effectively and collaboratively with Team Leaders and Workers to ensure rosters respond to client needs and consideration of worker suitability
* Produce high level reporting analysis on roster data including, but not limited to, use of overtime, shift discrepancies and Agency use etc.
* Support the Rostering team to problem solve appropriate shift cover options with support from Client Services team and People & Culture as required
* Supervision of rostering team including annual development reviews
* Collaborate with People & Culture and Client Services to ensure appropriate workforce planning and utlisation
To be successful in this role you will have as desirable attributes:
* Experience in the use of fully integrated software packages such as Ability ERP
* Proven experience with accurately processing high volume data
* Experience in supervision of staff
* Strong capabilities to effectively work under pressure
* Capability to maintain effective and collaborative working relationships in a busy and demanding environment
* Intermediate computer skills
* Great communication skills
