The Opportunity
At MinRes, we prioritise mental health just as much as physical well‐being. We are seeking a passionate Mental Health Clinician – Counsellor / Psychologist who is committed to making a real impact on employee well‐being.
Be part of our internal mental health department that offers the unique opportunity to engage with employees across MinRes sites, promoting good mental health and self‐care through the provision of mental health resources.
This role will report directly to our Manager, Mental Health Services, and you will be on a blended roster. You will be Perth‐based with FIFO travel to site on a 4:3 / 4:3 rotation.
Key responsibilities:
* Deliver evidence‐based interventions for employees facing challenges like stress, grief, anxiety, burnout, and low mood.
* Conduct mental health risk assessments, including suicide risk evaluations.
* Manage a caseload of up to 25 active clients (1.0 FTE).
* Provide in‐person & telehealth consultations.
* Collaborate with Emergency Services, Medics, Health & Wellbeing Advisors, and Gym Staff as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Lead mental health education and psychosocial wellbeing initiatives (e.g., pre‐start talks, workshops, mindfulness sessions).
* Contribute to quality improvement & mental health research.
What is required?
* Registered Psychologist or master's in counselling
* Membership with ACA, AHPRA, or PACFA
* 2+ years' experience in mental health
* Suicide risk assessment experience
* Strong communication, problem‐solving & teamwork skills
* Ability to adapt to changing business needs
* Insurance (Malpractice, Public & Products Liability)
* C‐Class Driver's Licence desirable
