Songbirds Early Learning is seeking passionate and experienced Diploma Qualified Educators.
As a Diploma Qualified Experienced Educator, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to the children in our early learning environments.
Key responsibilities
* Support and work with the team to implement engaging, age-appropriate educational programs that stimulate children's learning and development
* Assist with observing and monitoring children's progress, documenting their achievements and development
* Establishing nurturing and supportive relationships with children, families, and the wider community
* Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment that meets all regulatory requirements
* Collaborate with the wider team to contribute to the continuous improvement of the service
* Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
What we're looking for
* Diploma in Early Childhood Education or actively working towards Diploma
* Experience working in an Early Learning Environment
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a positive, inclusive, and supportive work environment
* Demonstrated understanding of early childhood development and the ability to design and implement engaging, play-based learning programs
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and motivated Diploma Qualified Educator to join our team. You will work closely with experienced Room Leaders and the Educational Leader to support children’s learning and wellbeing, contribute to engaging programs, and create a safe and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the planning and implementation of high-quality, play-based educational programs aligned with the EYLF.
• Build strong, positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Maintain compliance with NQS, centre policies, and health and safety requirements.
• Actively contribute to the team culture and support daily routines in the room and yard.
• Provide warm, responsive care to children, ensuring their individual needs are met.
About You
• Hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care (or equivalent recognised qualification).
• Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis training (or willingness to obtain) and current Child Safety Training
• A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to best practice.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Reliability, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
