Responsibilities:
* Prepare and bake cakes, and other desserts according to recipes and customer specifications
* Decorate cakes with icing, cream, and other techniques.
* Maintain a clean and organized workstation in compliance with food safety standards
* Monitor inventory and inform the manager when ingredients need to be restocked
* Collaborate with the team to create new cake designs and seasonal offerings
* Occasionally interact with customers for custom orders or consultations
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a cake baker or pastry chef
* Knowledge of baking techniques, food safety, and sanitation practices
* Creative and detail-oriented with strong decorating skills
* Ability to work early mornings, weekends, or holidays if needed
* Team player with good communication skills
* Culinary or pastry certification is a plus but not required
