Casual Domestic Cabin Crew

We have been contracted by Jetstar to further support them by expanding our existing cabin crew team in Cairns.

About you:

You must have the highest regard for safety and security. A key standout from you career history will be your ability to maintain the highest professional standards and provide excellent team based customer service and support in a fast paced and ever changing work environment. Your willingness and availability to work across a 7 day a week, shift patterned style roster will be essential.

Job Responsibilities:

* Ensure the safety and security of passengers on board by following established protocols and procedures.
* Provide excellent customer service, anticipating and exceeding the needs and expectations of passengers.
* Demonstrate thorough knowledge of safety equipment, emergency procedures, and first aid techniques.
* Communicate effectively with the flight crew, ground staff, and other team members to ensure seamless operations.
* Handle passenger enquiries, resolve issues, and address any concerns with professionalism and empathy.
* Stay up to date about industry regulations and company policies, always maintaining compliance.

Requirements:

* Minimum age of 18 years.
* Must be able to swim 50metres unaided
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Availability to work shift work, including weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts is essential.
* Fluent in English.
* Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident (New Zealand Passport Holders Included)
* A minimum of 12 months of validity on your Passport
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability to changing situations.
* Physically fit and able to meet the physical requirements of the job, including height and reach restrictions. Reach (minimum): 212cm; Arm span (minimum): 127cm; Height (maximum): 186cm
* Previous customer service experience essential
* Current First Aid, CPR and RSA Certificate, or willing to obtain one.
