We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Technician to join our Assets and Operations team in Ballina.
As an Electrical Technical you will be responsible for the delivery of a range of technical works encompassing the maintenance, construction, inspection and operation of equipment related to energy Transmission and Distribution systems.
**About You**
As an experienced Electrical Technician, you bring a wealth of knowledge and skills to the table. Your background includes:
- Application of Electrical Technician trade skills in the energy Transmission and Distribution environment.
- Extensive experience in selecting, testing, fault finding, repair, and maintenance of Electrical infrastructure.
- Proficiency in High and Low Voltage switching and permit issuance.
- A commitment to audits and safety processes, ensuring compliance with business requirements.
- Implementation of enterprise WHS and Environmental procedures.Adherence to business and industry standards, contributing to the role of an Electrical Technician.
Your skills extend beyond technical expertise:
- Effective problem-solving during unplanned events.
- The ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
- Basic computer proficiency relevant to the role.Strong interpersonal skills, enabling professional communication with stakeholders and customers.
**Required Qualifications**
- Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (plus Qualified Supervisors Certificate) or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and/or relevant qualifications
- Drivers Licence
- Qualified Supervisors Certificate
- WorkCover NSW Construction Induction CertAttainment and ongoing successful maintenance of all regulatory, industry and business required licences, authorisations and other such certificates deemed necessary for the role
**Desirable**
- First Aid - Elevated Work Platform - Traffic Control - Crane borer - Dogman - Forklift - Chemical awareness, handling and storage - Manual Handling - Environmental Awareness - Switching knowledge - Sub Station entry authorisation
