Safety Supervisor for Reverse Circulation and Grade Control Drilling
We are looking for an experienced Safety Supervisor to oversee safety operations in reverse circulation (RC) and grade control drilling. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our team members and clients.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
* Lead incident investigations and develop strategies to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.
* Deliver inductions, toolbox talks, and training programs to ensure compliance with safety protocols.
* Work closely with drill crews and site management to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:
* Cert IV in Work Health & Safety is mandatory.
* Cert IV in Training & Assessment is also required.
* Prior experience in Australian mining, drilling, or heavy industry is highly regarded, especially in RC or GC drilling.
* Strong knowledge of WA Mines Safety legislation is essential.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills are necessary to effectively manage a team.
* A National Police Clearance obtained within 3 months of application is required.
* The ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen is also necessary.
* Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency status is required.
* Currently residing in Australia is a must.
* A current Unrestricted Manual C-Class Licence is needed.
