This unique fellowship combines advanced breast imaging and intervention with Consultant Radiologist experience across both public and private healthcare settings.

Radiology SA was established in 2005 with just two Adelaide locations and has grown into one of South Australia's leading imaging practices, now operating across 16 clinics and four public hospital contracts.

Over the past 20 years, we have built a strong reputation for clinical excellence, innovation and patient‐centred care, supported by a collaborative and doctor‐led culture.

Our team of highly regarded Radiologists work across both public and private healthcare settings throughout Adelaide, Darwin and Far North Queensland, delivering high quality imaging services across a broad range of subspecialties.

As our practice continues to grow, we are offering FRANZCR qualified Radiologists the opportunity to undertake a Breast Fellowship commencing in either February or August 2027.

Successful candidates may undertake either a 6 or 12‐month fellowship program. Part‐time arrangements may also be considered.

The hybrid opportunity combines:

• 2‐3 days per week Breast Fellowship and professional development exposure
• 1‐2 days per week Consultant Radiologist

Flexibility regarding FTE arrangements, fellowship/professional development allocation and rostering structures (including part‐time or 9‐day fortnight style arrangements) may be considered.

Optional opportunities for interstate collaboration and travel exposure may also arise throughout the fellowship, though participation is not required.

Fellows may also be considered for permanent Consultant Radiologist opportunities within Radiology SA, subject to workforce requirements, at the conclusion of your fellowship.

Our fellowship leadership and supervision team comprise experienced Breast Radiologists with extensive expertise across both public and private healthcare settings. Fellows will receive structured supervision, mentoring and regular feedback throughout the fellowship.

Our fellowship leadership and supervision team have extensive experience across:

• Diagnostic and screening mammography
• Breast intervention
• Breast MRI
• Contrast Enhanced Mammography (CEM)
• Multidisciplinary breast care

Fellows will also have opportunities to participate in registrar teaching and multidisciplinary collaboration across public and private settings, as well as exposure to a diverse range of subspecialties and practice environments. Optional participation in after‐hours rosters is available.

During the Fellowship, you will develop competencies and gain exposure in:

• 3D mammography (breast tomosynthesis)
• Mammographic breast density software
• Stereotactic and tomosynthesis‐guided breast procedures
• Image guided breast procedures
• Contrast enhanced mammography (CEM)
• Breast ultrasound
• Participation in multidisciplinary breast meetings (MDMs)
• Where possible, fellows may gain exposure to theatre environments and collaboration opportunities with breast surgeons
