Disability Inclusion Profile Facilitator
About the Role
We are seeking experienced professionals to facilitate Disability Inclusion Profile meetings in schools across the Bayside Peninsula area.
As a facilitator, you will work collaboratively with our team to deliver high-quality results and provide extensive training and development opportunities.
The ideal candidate will have a background in Inclusive Education and a minimum of 5 years of experience working with children with additional needs, their families, and their school.
Key responsibilities include:
* Facilitating Disability Inclusion Profile meetings in schools
* Working collaboratively with our team to achieve project goals
* Providing training and support to school staff
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Qualifications as a Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Speech Pathologist/Therapist or Psychologist
* Current AHPRA/SPA registration
* 5+ years of experience working in/with schools
* Extensive knowledge of child development, disabilities or learning challenges that students may experience
* A strong understanding of the principles of inclusion in education
* Experience in group facilitation and excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to write concise and accurate reports
* Excellent time management skills and intermediate computer skills
